WHMCS is a very powerful and easy to use billing platform. We have personally made the switch to it after 4 months of internal testing.

If you are a client on XR1 or XR2, you are able to add WHMCS to your package for £7 per month.

Unlike other billing software, there is no client limit and no recurring support fees - you only pay your monthly fee.

We also offer an installation service for WHMCS on your account for £10.

If you wish to add this to your account, please goto my.xilo.net, view your packages, select your reseller package and then scroll down to add-ons and click the link to display the list of add-ons.

All of our cPanel based servers will be upgraded to Perl 5.8.8 over the next coming days.This will not affect any usage of perl and is a required upgrade for cPanel.

We’ve lost power in our Sheffield office and currently unable to access our helpdesk or telephone system.

As such, we won’t be able to reply to your emails or phone calls as quick as we would like and ask that all customers please be patient whilst awaiting a reply from a ticket.

After many requests and emails from current and new customers, we have changed our H-Sphere hosting to cPanel.This means that all new orders will be on the cPanel platform by default.

We will still be hosting our H-Sphere clients and have no plans to change this.

If you are specifically wanting an account on the H-Sphere platform, please raise a ticket for our sales team. cPanel accounts can be signed up and activated online instantly via our site

We have always offered free incoming transfers on .uk domain names. This is because we do not have to pay a fee at the registry, Nominet.

However, on most other domains (gTLD; .com, .net, .org and so on), a fee is payable to transfer the domain. This is the same as a one years registration due to the expiry date being extended by one year.

We are reducing this fee from £7 to £5 for transfers as from 5th March 2007. If you have domains with another provider, it has never been a better time to transfer them to us and get better value for your money.

After several requests to provide a number which is not based on the 0845 lo-call pricing structure, we have setup a local 020 3x number which can be called free from many landlines and mobile phones which have inclusive free minutes/calls to geographic numbers.

The number is for customers only and will not be published on our contact page. Please take a note of the number which is located within my.xilo.net ONLY. Our 0845 and 0800 numbers also remain the same.

We are currently moving into our new office suite at Sheffield Technology Parks.

This is an exciting move for us and will be carried out over the Christmas period.
