XILO partners with GlobalSign!

We’re pleased to announce that we have partnered with the leading SSL certificate provider, GlobalSign.

We have been providing SSL certificates to our customers since 2004 during which we have worked exclusively with Comodo.

We reviewed our partnership with Comodo after recent news via tech-savvy website, The Register, highlighting a major security lapse with the validation process carried out by one of Comodo’s partners.

A third party was able to request a signed certificate for the domain belonging to the Mozilla Project (mozilla.org) without any validation whatsoever, which could have serious implications for the thousands of Comodo issued SSL certificates being used today.
